LexisNexis Risk Solutions (Atlanta) has extended its use of Social Intelligence (Santa Barbara, Calif.) into new markets. Social Intelligence capabilities power LexisNexis’ Social Media Locator, a feature within the LexisNexis Accurint fraud prevention platform. Available in the LexisNexis Accurint for Insurance platform since September 2014, Social Media Locator now will be available for the Accurint platform across several additional markets.

By combining the powerful capabilities of both companies, Social Media Locator allows Accurint users to discover an individual’s online presence in real-time, providing actionable intelligence relevant to a wide range of applications, according to a joint vendor statement.

LexisNexis describes the benefits of the Social Media Locator solution to Accurint users as follows:
