Canadian insurer La Capitale General Insurance (Quebec City) has selected Guidewire’s (Foster City, Calif) BillingCenter to consolidate its billing technology and operations of La Capitale and its subsidiaries in order to become more responsive to its customers and distributors.

BillingCenter’s configurability will help La Capital to improve its billing capabilities in step with customer and distributor demand and provide a new offering over the web, according to a Guidewire statement. The carrier will deploy BillingCenter for P&C, with La Capital General Insurance the first to go live.
