Kentucky Growers Insurance (Lexington, Kentucky) has implemented the Finys Suite from Finys (Troy, Michigan) to support its homeowners and farm owners lines of business, replacing a legacy platform that no longer met operational needs.
Founded in 1896, Kentucky Growers is a property/casualty insurer serving homes and farms across rural and suburban Kentucky. The company selected the Finys Suite to modernize its system capabilities while preserving its local service approach.
To support the transition, Kentucky Growers engaged Straith Enterprises to define specifications, manage the project, and configure the system using Design Studio, the configuration tools within the Finys Suite. A dedicated agent portal was developed to streamline quoting and product selection within the workflow.
“The most important part of this implementation project from Kentucky Growers’ perspective was to retain their hometown feel, personal care, and local decision making,” says Alex Straith, President, Straith Enterprises. “Implementing the Finys Suite allowed KGI to modernize their systems without losing their personal touch and corporate identity.”
Options and Flexibility
“We are looking forward to the options and flexibility afforded us by this transition to the Finys Suite,” comments Marc Evans, President, Kentucky Growers Insurance. “The ever-changing regulatory environment and evolving pricing models necessitated a more adaptable and flexible management system for us to stay competitive in a marketplace that continues pushing smaller organizations to their limits. The Finys Suite allows us to remain competitive in a modern marketplace, with all the challenges that entails.”
“We are excited to be partnering with Kentucky Growers and to help them grow their business and deliver an improved agent experience,” says Kurt Diederich, CEO, Finys.
