“Committed to providing the best functionality as quickly as possible, ISCS spends a significant amount of resources on researching, testing and vetting all enhancements to the SurePower Innovation platform,” comments Andy Scurto, president of ISCS. “The availability of eSignatures is no exception. It’s time for insurers to bring this technology into the mainstream of business processes.”

The addition of e-signature capabilities have become necessary as insurance has moved into the realm of mobility and anytime/anywhere access in order to enable faster submission of new policies and improved customer satisfaction, according to an ISCS statement. Through the addition of e-signature to the ISCS suite, all new business applications processed through SurePower Innovation can be configured to accept eSignatures, and a new e-signature tab provides an easy way for system users to check on the status of any prior signature request, the vendor reports.

Claims Automation

SurePower Innovation version 3.0.13 also includes an enhanced framework for automating the assignment of claims adjusters, and the addition of features and default reserves for when the initial claim is started. Further enhancements include a straight-through claims processing feature, which automates everything from first notice of loss (FNOL) through claims resolution, and extends all the way to loss notices reported by insureds in service portals, ISCS says. These new and enhanced claims automation capabilities can be used to help expedite simple, routine claims, or even be used during a catastrophe, to remove some of the manual steps that take up adjuster time in a claimant’s time of need, the vendor claims.

ISCS says V3.0.13’s additional capabilities include billing and payment processing improvements, automated file sharing and linking that are compatible with cloud file sharing services and enhanced security features.
