ISCS (San Jose, Calif.) has introduced an update to the SurePower Innovation suite that includes Price Compare, which the vendor characterizes as a feature that enables insurers to easily make side-by-side comparisons of the most important sections of linked quote iterations.

This functionality naturally speeds the selection or decision-making process since prospects can quickly get to the total premium desired by selecting options based on an apples-to-apples comparison.”
The new functionality, which the vendor describes as configurable and presented during the quote phase of policies, enables ISCS’s insurer customers to showcase strengths in coverages by highlighting specific parts of quotes internally determined to be most important to show in the comparison. An ISCS statement adds that by developing a product-specific rule in Price Compare, insurers can pre-determine the number of rows in the comparison, the field descriptions and formatting of the comparison values.
SurePower Innovation users visiting the Price Compare tab receive a refreshed comparison immediately upon every visit to the site, the vendor says, even if over time quotes values are changed or new iterations are added. The most recent comparison data is saved in the quote, allowing users to easily create items such as a comparison correspondence to the insured, or other documents, ISCS report. The new functionality also enables insurers to enter information for multiple quotes just once on a single policy with different limits.
