iPipeline UK (Cheltenham, Gloucestershire) has announced a partnership with dacadoo (Zurich) to combine iPipeline’s SSG Digital platform with dacadoo’s digital health engagement platform for life insurers.

Ian Teague, Managing Director, iPipeline UK.

iPipeline describes its SSG Digital offering as an end-to-end platform supporting the entire customer journey from producing quotations, completing applications and underwriting, through to servicing, claims and ongoing agency management.

dacadoo provides a Health Score based on tracking movement, nutrition, sleep and stress factors to help users manage their health. Dacadoo Health Score has proven to positively impact wellness in users, so its risk models can be used as a proxy for underwriting and simplifying protection sales, according to an iPipeline statement.

Combining the SSG Digital platform with dacadoo’s solution will enable providers to do the following, iPipeline says:

  • utilize the client’s overall Health Score, as well as information gained through the SSG underwriting engine, to offer an appropriate premium which is fitting to their lifestyle.
  • encourage the design of wellbeing propositions using a combination of SSG Digital product engine, dacadoo’s digital health engagement app data, and provider’s underwriting philosophies.

Peter Ohnemus, CEO, dacadoo.

“Joining forces with dacadoo allows us to enhance our proposition and complements our focus to grow the protection market,” comments Ian Teague, U.K, Group Managing Director, iPipeline. “The additional client behavioral data further supports underwriting proxies, avoiding the need to answer unnecessary underwriting questions.”

Improving Client Engagement

“With clients being able to directly track their overall Health Score and view how it positively or adversely contributes to their premiums, whether new business or reviewable policies, client engagement levels improve,” Teague adds.

“dacadoo is very excited to be partnering with iPipeline to further differentiate the end-to-end digital experience for iPipeline’s Insurance customers,” comments Peter Ohnemus, CEO, dacadoo. “Adding end-user engagement and real-time risk scoring to the SSG platform will provide significant value and product differentiation that insurers have been looking for in today’s digital Life & Health Insurance world.”
