Bluesun, a provider of software solutions to the Canadian financial services industry, has entered an agreement with iPipeline (Exton, Pa.) to become the exclusive reseller and implementation partner of the vendor’s iGO e-App, DocFast e-Delivery, Illustrations, and XRAE health class rating solutions for the Canadian marketplace. Bluesun currently handles more than 70 percent of all Canadian life insurance business from the independent channel, according to an iPipeline statement.
“We have decades of experience in creating and delivering innovative technologies that move the needle for top carriers, distributors, and financial institutions in the U.S.,” comments Tim Wallace, CEO, iPipeline. “While we are not strangers to the Canadian marketplace, it is important to align ourselves with Bluesun, who has extensive industry experience in life insurance and mutual fund software solutions, to collaborate with us on implementations.”
Wallace reports that iPipeline’s 2016 Canadian Insurance Summit was well attended in Toronto by top Canadian industry executives and permitted the vendor to more deeply study the market. “Our ideas and solutions were embraced, and the level of receptivity compelled us to engage the best software company in Canada to resell our solutions,” Wallace relates. “We are excited about the reseller agreement and looking forward to working with Bluesun in Canada.”
