iPipeline Names Mike Plazony VP of Carrier Sales

The industry veteran is tasked with collaborating with insurance carriers to advance front- and back-office transformation.

iPipeline (Exton, Pa.), a provider of cloud-based software solutions for the life insurance and financial services industry, has announced the appointment of Michael Plazony as VP of Carrier Sales, tasked with collaborating with insurance carriers to advance front- and back-office transformation. A 40-year insurance industry veteran, Plazony comes to iPipeline from Kemper Life, where he served as President.

As Senior VP of Erie Insurance Group’s life insurance company, Plazony delivered customer-focused competitive products with technology improvements that drove growth with increased cross-selling of life insurance products. Earlier roles include a variety of executive positions at market-leading companies including Bankers Life & Casualty, Caremark, Travelers Insurance, and Trustmark. Plazony earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Indiana University.
