bolt (New York), the U.S. branch of international InsurTech, bolttech (Singapore), and Pathpoint, a digital wholesaler for small commercial excess and surplus (E&S) lines, today announced the launch of Pathpoint’s integration into bolt Access, bolt’s wholesale agency digital placement platform.
Insurance agents who use bolt Access to place small commercial insurance now have the ability to quickly and easily quote Pathpoint’s small commercial E&S in a true end-to-end digital experience, according to a joint statement from the companies. Rather than separately seeking out wholesale brokers when admitted markets decline to cover a risk, bolt Access users can immediately get quotes for non-admitted markets within the platform, a unique advantage for insurance agents, the statement says.
“bolt’s partnership with Pathpoint expands the capabilities of our market-leading insurance exchange, and ensures we’re offering bolt Access agents with the comprehensive choice they expect from us to deliver for their clients,” comments Jim Dwane, CEO, bolt. “We are excited to take our relationship with Pathpoint to the next level and enable bolt Access agents to meet more of their clients’ needs, faster, and with less effort.”
Fast Access
bolt Access agents can offer their clients non-admitted general liability, property, commercial package, and excess liability coverage across contractors, vacant buildings and land, lessor’s risk, and restaurant verticals fast with this direct integration.
“We’re thrilled to launch this shared mission to provide a technology-first solution to thousands of insurance agents who are looking for optimal ways to get coverage for their clients,” comments Alex Bargmann, CEO, Pathpoint. “Delivering digital solutions that increase productivity for agents is what we do best.”
