KLJ has been offering a complete claims management solution for over 15 years, with clients globally. Instec’s announcement describes KLJ’s claimsHQ as covering the entire claims lifecycle from first notice of loss to closure, with the system’s workflows, claims tracking, and user interface configurable by a business user.

“We’ve seen a growing shift in the market from single-vendor suites to a best-of-breed approach that combines systems created by experts in their fields,” comments Kevin Mason, Executive VP, Instec. “Our partnership with KLJ reflects that trend. With the integration of their claimsHQ, the Instec ecosystem now includes policy, billing, underwriting, analytics, and claims.”

Instec stresses that integration of claims HQ with Instec Policy will benefit both systems through their complementary capabilities. Coverages, limits, and policyholder data from Instec Policy will facilitate claims processing and fraud detection; and claims history from claimsHQ will assist in reporting, loss ratio analysis and policy renewal, according to Instec.

Similar Approach to Insurance Systems

“Our companies have very similar approaches to insurance systems,” comments Jason McGrath, President, KLJ Computer Solutions. “A high degree of self-configurability, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) pricing are just two examples. Out-of-the-box integration now gives customers of both companies a faster path to an end-to-end solution.”
