InsMark (San Ramon, Calif.), a provider of supplemental life insurance illustrations, has entered into a strategic partnership to distribute its marketing illustration systems to Ebix’s (Atlanta) EbixExchange (Winflex) and Ebix CRM customers for a monthly fee.

With this partnership, InsMark’s marketing illustration systems will help fill the gap between prospecting, data collection, presentation and closing the sale.”
InsMark’s product line utilizes what the vendor characterizes as a unique approach to illustrating all forms of cash value life insurance. Its solutions focus on creative presentations, leaving the actuarial dimension of illustrations to the carrier user. To enable this approach, InsMark developed proprietary specifications, known as “Button File,” that each licensed insurer uses to link data from its basic illustration systems. InsMark’s approach lets field producers present InsMark illustrations as “top page” concept proposals or “diet” proposals. The approach covers mathematical and legal compliance by requiring that the insurance company’s illustrations must accompany the InsMark presentation, according to the vendor.
EbixExchange currently supports a broad range of insurance agencies, brokerage and clearing firms, and operations centers at over 100 of the leading insurance carriers and their affiliates, according to an InsMark statement.
