Imperial Fire & Casualty Modernizes Claims Capabilities with Innovation Group Solutions

The Southeast-focused writer of auto, property and flood insurance sought a claims solution with integrated analytics that provided greater agility in support of the carrier’s rapid growth.

Imperial Fire and Casualty Insurance Company, a Southport Lane portfolio company, has selected Innovation Group’s InsurerClaims and Insurer Analytics products to enhance support for the Opelousas, La.-based carrier’s personal and commercial auto lines of business and property claims management. The solutions were selected to address constraints associated with Imperial’s legacy system and facilitate growth and improved customer service.

Among Imperial’s requirements was a claims solution with integrated analytics that would provide a significant increase in flexibility and agility, according to an Innovation Group statement. The vendor describes the carrier as a fast-growing provider of personal and commercial auto, personal property and flood insurance. Imperial is currently writing business in Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas, and is also licensed in Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, South Carolina and West Virginia.

Insurer Claims will enable Imperial to breaks free from legacy system constraints while gaining the state-of-the-art end-to-end solution needed to better service customers and develop a platform for innovation and growth, according to Innovation Group. Insurer Claims includes First Notice of Loss (FNOL), triage, fraud management, supply chain, vehicle and property damage, subrogation, special investigation, litigation and settlement. Insurer Analytics will further expand Imperial’s knowledge and capabilities by providing business intelligence (BI), dashboard reporting and real-time analytics, according to the vendor.
