Hyland (Cleveland) has acquired AcroSoft’s (Columbia, S.C.) enterprise content management (ECM) business from Interactive Intelligence, Inc. (Indianapolis). Acquired by Interactive intelligence in 2009, AcroSoft provides ECM-focused software solutions to the insurance industry. Hyland adds approximately 50 insurance customers to its base of more than 500 carrier client around the world.

Hyland, founded in 1991 is the provider of the OnBase enterprise information platform, which the vendor says has helped more than 15,000 lifetime customers manage content, processes and cases. OnBase combines the capabilities of ECM, case management, business process management (BPM) and capture on a single platform that the vendor says integrates seamlessly with policy administration, billing and claims management systems.
