Homesite Insurance Improves Claims Scalability and Efficiency with 1insurer

The insurer selected 1insurer Claims as the foundation of an internally labeled Homesite Claims Management System (CMS) and worked with the vendor to implement the solution.

Homesite Insurance (Boston), a subsidiary of American Family Mutual Insurance, reports that it has achieved scalability and improved operational efficiencies through implementing 1insurer Claims, a component of the 1insurer (Farmington, Conn.) suite.

Homesite, a national, full-service property insurer focused on term life, small business, flood, homeowners’, condominium and renters’ lines of business, sought to interact with business partners and customers more efficiently to shorten claim cycle times and achieve greater scalability in response to catastrophes. The insurer selected 1insurer Claims as the foundation of an internally labeled Homesite Claims Management System (CMS) and worked with the vendor to implement the solution.

  • Allow customers and business partners to report claims directly and seamlessly eliminating manual-re-keying and expediting the claims handling process; and
  • Institute automatic routing of claims to specialized adjusters based on predetermined criteria.
