HLDI Names The Hartford’s Stefanie Zacchera Board Chair

Zacchera succeeds Kathleen Ores Walsh, VP, pricing and product analytics, USAA, who remains a member of the Board.

The Highway Loss Data Institute (HDLI, Arlington, Va.)  has announced the election of Stefanie Zacchera as chair of its Board of Directors. Zacchera is VP of personal lines data and analytics at The Hartford (Hartford). She succeeds Kathleen Ores Walsh, VP, pricing and product analytics, USAA (San Antonio), who remains a member of the Board.

HLDI, an affiliate of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS; Arlington, Va.), is a nonprofit research organization that publishes insurance loss statistics on most car, SUV, pickup truck and motorcycle models on U.S. and Canadian roads. HLDI is wholly supported by auto insurers.

“HLDI’s work to identify trends in claims data and maintain a trove of vehicle information provides a major contribution to the cause of road safety and to our industry,” comments Zacchera. “It’s an honor to work with my colleagues on the Board to support these efforts.”
