Hi Marley (Boston) has launched Unite, an insurance-specific conversational network designed to help property/casualty carriers coordinate communication across service providers.
Unite brings approved service-provider communication into the same Hi Marley conversation policyholders already use for a claim, according to a Hi Marley statement. The company says the product is initially focused on claims workflows and is available as part of Hi Marley’s Claims Enhanced Collaboration offering.
Claims often involve multiple parties, including adjusters, rental providers, towing providers, claims payment providers, repair facilities, salvage partners, property inspection providers and managed repair providers. Hi Marley says Unite is intended to reduce fragmented communication, unfamiliar phone numbers and unclear next steps for policyholders.
For carriers, Unite provides control over which partners are activated, what messages are sent, how communication reflects the carrier’s brand, and what policyholders and adjusters see. Hi Marley says it manages technical integration work directly with service providers, reducing the IT work required by carriers.
“Insurance is a complex network of carriers, agents, repairers, rental companies, and technology partners, but policyholders should never have to feel that complexity,” comments Mike Greene, Co-founder and CEO, Hi Marley. “Unite helps carriers bring more of the insurance experience into one clear, familiar conversation.”
Unite launches with partners including CCC Intelligent Solutions, Plnar, Hover, Sedgwick Auto, Enterprise Mobility, Agero and One Inc. Hi Marley says the network is designed to expand beyond claims into additional P&C insurance use cases over time.
Carrier Control and Adjuster Visibility
Hi Marley says Unite lets carriers extend the Hi Marley conversation across their service provider network while maintaining control of the policyholder experience. Carriers can activate partners on their own timelines, with each connection adding visibility, coordination and automation across the claims journey, according to the company.
For adjusters, Unite brings service-provider activity into the Hi Marley platform. Teams can receive real-time alerts, initiate workflows and monitor partner activity without switching systems or relying on disconnected updates.
For policyholders, Unite is intended to create a simpler experience by delivering important updates through the claim conversation they already know.
“Carriers should not have to choose between expanding their service provider network and maintaining control of the policyholder experience,” comments Jay Guden, SVP, Partnerships, Hi Marley. “Unite makes it easier to connect trusted partners into the Hi Marley conversation, giving carriers more visibility, more control, and a simpler experience for policyholders.”
More Intelligent Coordination
Hi Marley says Unite establishes communication infrastructure for more connected insurance experiences. As the company expands its AI capabilities, the network is expected to support more intelligent coordination across carriers and service providers, helping automate next steps, reduce manual effort and keep claims work moving forward.
“CCC is focused on helping customers deliver more intelligent and connected claims experiences,” comments Jessica Giampaolo, VP, APD Product Management, CCC. “Our collaboration with Hi Marley brings our photo capture and estimate initiation capabilities directly into the conversations carriers and policyholders are already having, making it easier for everyone to stay aligned throughout the claim.”
Hi Marley provides an intelligent communication platform for P&C insurers. The company says it is used by more than 130 carriers, including four of the top 10.
