Hastings Direct and Cambridge Mobile Telematics Announce Five-Year Partnership Renewal

The companies’ YouDrive collaboration allows customers to reduce the cost of their insurance by sharing their driving data.

Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT; Cambridge, Mass.), the world’s largest telematics service provider, and Hastings Direct (Bexhill-on-Sea, England), a provider of insurance broking services to the U.K. private car, van, motorbike and home insurance markets, have announced the renewal of their partnership.

With this renewal, we’ll continue leveraging CMT’s technology to enhance the experience and pricing for our customers.”

Launched in 2020, the YouDrive program utilizes CMT’s DriveWell Fusion platform, transforming sensor data from smartphones and IoT devices into actionable driving insights through artificial intelligence. The program uses real-time driving data to encourage safer driving by offering incentives such as reduced insurance premiums and other discounts. By driving safely, drivers get the price they deserve, the statement from the companies says.

Making Insurance More Affordable
