Harford Mutual Hires Jeffery Bischoff to Lead Information Technology

Bischoff is responsible for developing and leading the company’s IT strategy to enable the goal of being the regional insurance carrier of choice.

Harford Mutual Insurance Group (Bel Air, Md.) has named Jeffery Bischoff as Assistant VP of Information Technology, responsible for overseeing the company’s Information Technology department and responsible for developing and leading Harford Mutual’s information technology strategy to enable the company’s vision to be the regional insurance carrier of choice, according to a statement from the carrier.

Bischoff brings more than 25 years of IT experience to his position. Most recently, he held the position of Technology Solution Manager in the Policy Platform Department at American Family Insurance Group.

Previously, Bischoff held technical positions at Selective Insurance Group (Branchville, N.J.) Housing Authority Insurance Group (Cheshire, Conn.), and Travelers Insurance (Hartford) before joining New London County Mutual Insurance (Norwich, Conn.) in 2015 as Assistant VP of IT. His responsibilities at New London County Mutual Insurance included managing IT and Infrastructure and directing the implementation of Guidewire across the organization.

Bischoff holds a Bachelor of Science in Management & Marketing from Syracuse University.
