Guidewire Adds London Market Capabilities to ClaimCenter

The new add-on delivers configurable automated processes based on best practices, enabling customers to address the specific requirements of the London Market according the vendor.

Guidewire Software has announced the availability of Guidewire London Market Messaging, an add-on solution for the vendor’s ClaimCenter core claims application designed to deliver specialized functionality for insurers operating in the London Market.

Building on the several implementations of ClaimCenter within the London Market, the vendor worked with its customer base to develop the London Market Messaging capability, which delivers configurable automated processes based on best practices, according to a Guidewire statement.

“London Market Messaging provides us with a good solution, particularly when considering our long term support model,” comments Jeff Bigmore, head of Business Change and Programme Delivery, Aspen Insurance UK Ltd.(a division of London-based Aspen Group, $10.3 billion in assets). “Guidewire offers a set of much needed functionality, specifically tuned to our London Market business and processes, in an easy to add on module.”

London Market Messaging is designed to enable Guidewire ClaimCenter customers to address the specific requirements of the London Market, which include:

  • Message processing and action framework, providing enhanced configuration to manage incoming market claims messages through a message processing framework;
  • Message handling for both claims messages and settlement messages, covering the Lloyd’s market and the Companies market;
  • Message cleansing, message business rules, and manual message editing.
