Gore Mutual Insurance Company (Cambridge, Ontario) has selected Duck Creek (Bolivar, Mo.) Billing to integrate with its existing Duck Creek, which went into production in July 2010, and other Duck Creek systems. The new billing software will offer more payment options, handle higher volume workflows, and enhance billing operations by streamlining and automating processes, which will increase efficiencies and improve responsiveness to brokers and customers served throughout Canada, according to a vendor statement.
The new billing software will be fully integrated with Duck Creek Policy and its black box rating engine, Duck Creek reports. The combined platform will support Gore’s personal and commercial lines of business from quoting and underwriting to payment and renewal.
Automating Manual Processes
“The seamless integration between the Duck Creek billing and policy systems made it clear that this is the best solution for us,” comments Sean Christie, CIO and VP of Information Services, Gore Mutual. “This will provide us with streamlining opportunities, as we will be able to automate manual processes or even eliminate some processes completely.”
“All of us at Duck Creek are excited to be working with Gore Mutual on this next phase of their core system modernization initiative,” comments Michael A. Jackowski, president, Duck Creek Technologies. “In today’s world, it’s all about delivering and utilizing the technology that enables a superior customer experience. With this function-rich and fully-integrated policy and billing platform, Gore Mutual will continually add value to the brokers they serve by providing quick and easy access to the products and information needed to meet market demand.”
