Auto insurance comparison site Go (San Francisco) has announced the launch of a new Go app for iPhone that it says gives customers the ability to purchase car insurance from household-name insurers  in less than a minute. Go describes the user experience as involving snapping a photo of one’s driver’s license, getting a quote, and paying easily, securely and privately with Apple Pay. The new app improves upon Go’s June 2016 claim of enabling its app users to get car insurance within three minutes.

Designed specifically for iPhone, Go is designed to make purchasing car insurance extremely simple by letting customers use their camera, Messages, Apple Pay, and rich notifications to have an effortless purchasing experience, according to a Go statement. After purchasing their insurance with Apple Pay, customers instantly receive an insurance card in Wallet on iPhone, have the ability to start messaging from Apple Watch, get rich notifications each time a payment is made, and can share their card with family members through the Go iMessage app.

Simplest Car Insurance Yet

“We are very excited to bring customers the all new Go, so they can experience the simplest car insurance yet,” comments Kevin Pomplun, co-founder and CEO, Go. “Customers have always shared that one of the reasons they really like Go is because it is fast and it is easy. We can’t wait to hear all the new stories about how customers are getting insured with the touch of a finger.”
