As part of its transformation plan, Germania specifically sought an integrated core systems suite, according to Blake Lovelace, second VP, Germania Insurance. “We were impressed with the strength of Guidewire’s overall technology architecture as well as InsuranceSuite’s functionality,” Lovelace reports. “Also, we have confidence in Guidewire based on their implementation record of success and their strong reputation.”

Three Phase Implementation

The insurer plans to deploy InsuranceSuite in three phases, starting with Guidewire ClaimCenter and InfoCenter. BillingCenter and PolicyCenter will be deployed during the second phase, and the third phase will consist of extension of the technology to Germania’s Commercial General Liability and Business Auto lines.
