Holistic Global Insurance and Assistance Solution

GC&C describes Centurion as a holistic global insurance and assistance solution that provides protection for risks associated with global operations, addressing potential gaps in coverage stemming from general liability, employee injury, automobile and property exposure, and employee travel, among other risks. Calling the offering a Controlled Master Program, the company says Centurion offers global coverage consistency, centralized management and timely resolution of any issue.

New features of Centurion offered and enhanced since its launch last year include:

  • European roadside assistance
  • Reverse trip travel insurance
  • Workers’ compensation and employer’s liability coverage in various territories
  • Trip cancellation and interruption insurance
  • Emergency evacuation and repatriation services
  • Identity protection services through GGA’s Iris OnWatch program.

“Our goal is to provide the most comprehensive insurance, assistance, and risk management program on the market to U.S.-based multinational organizations, and I firmly believe that our Centurion product accomplishes this,” comments Warren Berey, Head of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial U.S.A. Casualty. “We are committed to the highest level of customer service and have listened intently to our clients to source their feedback as we endeavor to provide even more seamless and effective property, casualty, and specialty insurance offerings. As a result, we work even more closely with Generali Global Assistance to ensure that all of our clients’ risk management needs are met no matter how broad the scope of their global operations may be.”

Leveraging Generali’s Global Resources

GC&C reports that it has developed Centurion’s robust policy forms in-house, offering what it calls an off-the-shelf, industry-leading solution that is also highly flexible and can be customized to uniquely suit the requirements of each customer. The policy comprehensively services clients’ global property, casualty, and specialty insurance needs through a single, integrated coverage package, according to GC&C. The company reports that Centurion is backed by the global, 180-country infrastructure and expertise of the Generali Group.

“Centurion leverages the global expertise and capabilities of Generali Group, which is one of the 50 largest companies in the world and has a rich, 185-year history,” Berey adds. “The significant resources of Generali Group at our disposal across our largely owned network and through our long-term partnerships, as well as the expertise of our U.S. team enable us to deliver flexible, comprehensive solutions such as Centurion to multinational corporate and commercial organizations. We look forward to continually improving our product offerings and to expanding our footprint in the U.S. market, where we have grown rapidly since launching the GC&C U.S.A. branch in early 2015.”
