FRISS (Utrecht, Netherlands), a global provider of AI-powered fraud, risk and compliance solutions for property/casualty insurance carriers, has announced that Marieke Saeij has been named as the company’s Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO).

Before joining FRISS, Saeij held positions as CTO and CEO at order-to-cash specialist, Onguard (Amsterdam). Saeij has an MBA in Business & IT, and over 15 years of experience in scaling international software development teams and supporting software companies through their phases of expansion. At FRISS, Saeij will be responsible for leading product enhancements that support international growth, and will help expand the platform by integrating new best-of-breed technology for assisting insurance companies through a safe digital transformation.

“We were looking for an experienced leader to guide our software development to the next phase,” comments Jeroen Morrenhof, co-founder and CEO, FRISS. “I’m convinced that with Marieke we found the right person to do so. She is a pleasure to work with and understands what is needed to succeed. Together we like to make insurance more honest for everyone and help our customers to make sure they can deliver great value and service to their sincere clients.”

Global Trusted Standard

“I am eager to start my adventure at FRISS,” Saeij comments. “In my opinion, FRISS offers a product suite that is best in class for end-to-end fraud detection and prevention for insurers. Making sure that the FRISS Score will be the global trusted standard for honest insurance in 2025 is a challenge I happily accepted.”
