Fisent Technologies (Toronto) has introduced a spreadsheet data standardization capability to its Fisent BizAI process automation platform. The feature, called Tabulate, is designed to extract and organize spreadsheet data into structured formats to support automated business workflows.
Fisent says the capability addresses challenges associated with processing spreadsheet and financial document data that often appears in inconsistent formats. The tool identifies tables and headers within files and converts fragmented information into standardized data formats.
“Given the ubiquity of large spreadsheets, Tabulate is a major milestone in our mission to transform unstructured information into high-quality, usable data for enterprise process automation,” says Adrian Murray, Founder and CEO, Fisent Technologies. “By aligning AI reasoning with high-scale transformation, we are giving enterprises the power to standardize even the most complex spreadsheets for automated workflows, critical reporting, and accurate analytics.”
Tabulate has been added to the company’s suite of automation tools, which includes capabilities for classifying, splitting, extracting, verifying and analyzing enterprise data.
The system also normalizes inconsistent formatting, including variations in dates and numerical values, to prepare information for use in downstream enterprise systems.
Fisent says the capability is already being used by customers in insurance underwriting and commercial lending workflows.
Financial services organizations are also using the platform to prepare data for risk management and compliance reporting in cloud data environments such as Snowflake.
Fisent Technologies provides artificial intelligence software designed to automate processing of unstructured enterprise data across industries including banking, insurance and wealth management.
