Erie Insurance Seeks Flexibility through ClaimCenter Selection

The insurer cites Guidewire’s history of investing in research and development to continually improve its system as a factor in selection.

Erie Insurance has selected Guidewire Software’s ClaimCenter system, citing flexibility, investment in its solutions.

“Guidewire ClaimCenter gives us the flexibility we need to achieve our vision of continuing to improve on our already outstanding claims service,” comments Matt Myers, senior VP, Erie Insurance. “Guidewire also has a history of investing in R&D to continually improve its system, which gives us confidence that as our needs evolve, they will evolve with us.”

Guidewire describes ClaimCenter as a leading end-to-end claims management system designed to meet the specific, current needs of Property/Casualty insurers. ClaimCenter’s uses business rules enable claims organizations to define, enforce, and continually refine their preferred claim handling practices in order to optimize and monitor their claim processes, according to the vendor. The application has a record of more than 100 successful implementations, the vendor claims.
