ERGO NEXT Insurance (Palo Alto, Calif.), a digital small-business insurer, has enabled eligible TikTok Shop sellers to access business insurance through TikTok Shop’s Seller Center.
The integration lets sellers obtain a quote and purchase coverage through Seller Center in minutes, according to ERGO NEXT. The insurer says sellers operating through TikTok Shop can access business insurance intended to help protect their businesses and customers.
As sellers grow, ERGO NEXT says business insurance can provide financial protection for product liability, inventory damage and other unexpected issues. The integration is designed to simplify e-commerce insurance coverage for sellers by providing a more direct path to purchase insurance within the platform where they already operate.
Through the integration, sellers can purchase general liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation and cyber coverage entirely online, according to ERGO NEXT.
“As e-commerce sellers scale, their risk changes,” comments Henry Tam, VP, Partnerships, ERGO NEXT. “Insurance is a foundational tool that helps sellers grow with confidence, protecting their business so they can keep investing in what’s next. By making ERGO NEXT’s digital insurance available to TikTok Shop sellers, we’re meeting entrepreneurs where they are with a streamlined option for purchasing coverage that can be tailored to their business needs.”
ERGO NEXT says the integration reflects its broader effort to expand access to small-business and e-commerce insurance by embedding coverage into platforms where entrepreneurs already manage their businesses. The insurer says the model removes traditional barriers to obtaining protection and gives sellers a more proactive path to insurance that supports business growth.
