Endurance Specialty Holdings (New York) has completed implementation Accenture Duck Creek Policy and Rating software for its global P&C insurance and reinsurance business within a targeted six-month period.

“Policy administration software is core to our business,” comments Alfred Goxhaj, Endurance’s CIO. “We selected Accenture Duck Creek because the team had the knowledge and expertise to deliver the project in our six month window for completion. The Duck Creek software was the right fit and we had previously worked with this team to deploy the ISO templates.”

The new software provides comprehensive functionality that is simple to configure and helps making changes to products and market delivery easier and faster, according to a vendor statement. The Policy and Rating solutions are part of a suite of components that also includes Claims and Billing solutions. Each component can be implemented independently or combined for an integrated approach to manage all aspects of the property and casualty insurance lifecycle, the vendor asserts.

Rapid Response

“A carrier’s rating and policy administration systems support the first customer interaction—it’s important to make that first impression a good one,” comments Mike Jackowski, global managing director of Accenture Duck Creek. “Our rating engine and policy software is built to support rapid response to inquiries and changing market demands, and also offers strong distribution channels that facilitate customer engagement.”
