EMPLOYERS Names Tracey Berg CIO

A 25-year industry veteran who most recently served as West Bend Mutual’s CIO, will report directly to Employers Holdings CEO Douglas D. Dirks.

Employers Holdings, Inc. (Reno, Nev.), a small business-focused workers’ compensation holding company doing business under the EMPLOYERS name, has appointed Tracey Berg as its executive vice president and CIO.  Berg has over 25 years of experience leading technical innovation and transformation.  She reports directly to Douglas D. Dirks, president and CEO.

Berg most recently served as senior VP and CIO at West Bend Mutual Insurance Company (West Bend, Wisc.) from 2008 until 2017.  Prior to that, she served as 2nd VP, Strategy and Architecture and 2nd VP, Application Development for Assurant, Inc. (New York). Berg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
