Efficiency Drives Mountain West’s Deployment of Cover-All Policy

Cover-All met Mountain West Farm Bureau’s criteria for an out-of-the-box, ISO-based system that would eliminate the need to devote time and resources to interpreting ISO rates, rules, forms, algorithms and statistics.

Mountain West Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company (Laramie, Wyo.) has implemented Cover-All Policy. The multi-line carrier, which writes business in Wyoming and Montana, selected the Morristown, N.J.-based vendor’s policy administration system last November based on Mountain West’s criteria for an out-of-the-box, ISO-based system that would eliminate the need to devote time and resources to interpreting ISO rates, rules, forms, algorithms and statistics.

“Cover-All Policy provides an intuitive user interface and straight-through-processing capabilities that are vital for extending the system to our exclusive agents,” comments Dan Bleak, VP of underwriting and operations, Mountain West.

Cover-All Policy, which the vendor describes as a modern, state-of-the-art policy administration solution that provides real-time reporting, will facilitate the transformation of Mountain West’s core commercial lines operations, including rating, quoting, underwriting, document generation/management and distribution, while improving collaboration and productivity, according to a Cover-All statement. The system will help Mountain West to grow its book of business through expedited processing and faster speed-to-market of product updates, the statement says.

“Cover-All demonstrated a firm grasp of our needs as well as an intimate knowledge of ISO products. Having their knowledge and experience in our corner allows us to focus on writing and servicing our business,” says Mountain West’s Bleak.

“With Cover-All Policy we hope that Mountain West will see immediate business benefits by being an ‘easy-to-do-business’ carrier for agents,” comments Alyssa Hostelley, senior VP, client services, Cover-All. “Mountain West is a valued partner, and Cover-All looks forward to helping [the insurer] continue to grow.”
