Duck Creek Technologies (Columbia, S.C.) today announced Vincent Chippari will join its executive team as the vendor’s chief financial officer.

Chippari’s experience includes his most recent role as managing director and CFO of Interactive Data Corporation (IDC; Bedford, Mass.), a provider of financial market data to major financial institutions worldwide. At IDC, Chippari was responsible for the financial management, accounting, tax, treasury, facilities and corporate development functions of the business. His most significant accomplishment was leading the organization through the successful sale of IDC to Intercontinental Exchange for $5.2 billion, following a dual track IPO/sale process, according to a Duck Creek statement.
Over the course of his career, Chippari has led financial teams in both private and public companies, completed more than 30 M&A transactions, and held additional positions in general management and corporate strategy, Duck Creek reports. His previous positions include serving as CFO of two private-equity backed pre-IPO technology businesses, FleetMatics Group and NameMedia, Inc., chief strategy officer of Thomson Healthcare, and executive VP and CFO of Information Holdings Inc.

Chippari will lead Duck Creek’s financial operations out of the Boston location and will serve on the executive committee, reporting directly to Jackowski.
