Dryden Mutual Insurance Company (Dryden, New York), a provider of property and liability insurance in urban and suburban areas across New York State, has completed Guidewire Software’s (Foster City, Calif.) Guidewire InsuranceNow across its organization to modernize its technology platform and transform the way it does business, according to a vendor statement. The insurer’s first implementation of the system as a client of ISCS (acquired by Guidewire in late 2016) was concluded in mid-2014.
Fully Implemented on InsuranceNow
Dryden Mutual has extended the implementation of InsuranceNow’s policy administration, claims management, and billing functionality to its personal lines of business (Homeowners, Mobile Homeowners, Landlord Package, Dwelling Fire, Boat Owners, Inland Marine, and Farm Owners), Guidewire reports. With the completion of this final implementation project, the company is now fully implemented on InsuranceNow. Dryden Mutual had previously implemented InsuranceNow to its commercial and premium audit lines of business in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
“The final implementation of InsuranceNow to our personal lines of business has been a huge milestone for us,” comments Peter Thorp, senior VP, Dryden Mutual. “We appreciate the true partnership that we have developed with ISCS, and now Guidewire. The teams have worked as a cohesive unit over the course of the implementation projects.”
“By following a mainly out-of-the-box implementation approach, we experienced a relatively smooth implementation from start to finish,” Thorp relates. “Feedback from across the business has been positive so far, especially regarding the system’s intuitiveness.”
InsuranceNow is enabling Dryden Mutual to the following, by the vendor’s description:
- Enhance operational efficiency and productivity throughout the organization by standardizing policy administration, billing management, and claims handling processes on a cohesive technology platform;
- Automate manual business processes to allow staff to focus on more strategic initiatives to support the business; and
- Increase speed-to-market and business agility, as well as reduce system maintenance costs, by leveraging Guidewire Cloud Production Services.
“The Dryden Mutual team effectively partnered with us to stay with a high return-on-investment methodology delivering our rich out-of-the-box features and workflows,” comments David Burns, VP, Professional Services, InsuranceNow, Guidewire Software. “We are deeply committed to Dryden Mutual’s mission to provide superior customer service to underserved P&C insurance markets, and are pleased to have helped them build a feature-rich and scalable foundation for future business growth.”
