Dentists’ Provident (London), a mutual insurer and market leader of income protection to dentists in the British Isles, has selected Sapiens ALIS to replace its legacy policy administration solution and modernize its core processing environment. The Holon-Israel based vendor’s ALIS solution will extend the company’s capabilities with the ALIS Agent and Client Portal, and integration with the OnBase Enterprise Content Management solution, according to a vendor statement.

Dentist Provident judged that its current system could not support its future strategic needs. The company chose Sapiens ALIS as its replacement platform based on a combination of the ALIS solution’s technology and capabilities, combined with the domain expertise of the Sapiens team, according to the vendor. With the improved capabilities provided by ALIS, Dentists’ Provident expects to better streamline its processing for greater efficiency and improved customer service.

Quality and Skills

“Our decision was based partially on the technology and functionality offered with ALIS, but just as much on the quality and skills of the Sapiens staff—especially when it comes to our unique business needs,” comments Farrukh Mirza, CEO, Dentists’ Provident. “We are confident in our decision and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Sapiens.”

Sapiens team will work with Dentists’ Provident as an implementation partner, according to Raj Ghuman, VP of sales and operations for EMEA, Sapiens. “The implementation effort is already underway and we will continue to work closely with the Dentists’ Provident team to ensure a successful implementation to help them enjoy all of the benefits that Sapiens ALIS offers,” he comments.
