Dentegra Insurance Company, a San Francisco-based dental insurer, has selected Attunity Replicate (Burlington, Mass.) as its strategic enterprise platform for universal data consumption and replication. The Attunity software, designed to enable real-time data availability and integration across heterogeneous operational databases and analytic platforms, will replace Dentegra’s current data replication technology. The initiative is expected to enable Dentegra to accelerate business solutions while reducing IT costs and labor, according to an Attunity Replicate statement.

Dentegra’s legacy capabilities required use of a complex manual and consumed excessive man-hours from skilled IT resources. Dentegra’s team sought a new solution that would remedy these limitations through universal platform that enables agility, high performance and lower impact on IT, according to Attunity Replicate.

Fast Performance and Ease-of-Use

“The fast performance and ease-of-use we experienced with Attunity Replicate during the Proof of Concept (POC) was impressive,” comments Shan Swaminathan, VP of applications development, Dentegra. “Using the Attunity solution, we expect that we will be able to reduce ongoing maintenance and development costs and refocus the team on the higher-value analytics initiatives that directly affect our bottom line.”

“We are excited to have Dentegra select Attunity Replicate as their enterprise platform for making real-time data available for operations and analytics,” said Itamar Ankorion, Chief Marketing Officer, Attunity Replicate. “The selection demonstrates Attunity Replicate’s advantages over traditional data replication software solutions, providing universal data ingest and replication that simplifies and accelerates time to value.”
