CSAA Insurance Group Modernizes Customer Communications with HP Exstream

CSAA was able to reduce 6500+ claims document templates to 400 and improve document creation and distribution response time, according to an HP Exstream source.

CSAA Insurance Group has combined back office transformation with the next stage in its customer communications strategy. While implementing Guidewire ClaimCenter, the carrier engaged HP Exstream to streamline its document authoring capabilities, HP Extream announced this morning at the Connections 2014, Guidewire’s (San Mateo, Calif.) annual user group meeting in San Francisco. To achieve the integration to the new claim system and accelerate application development and deployment CSAA Insurance Group worked with Cognizant, an HP Exstream certified partner, and leveraged HP expertise as needed, according to an HP statement.

Through the integration of document authoring capabilities with the carrier’s new claims platform, CSAA, an HP Exstream customer since 2003, was able to reduce 6500+ claims document templates to 400 and improve document creation and distribution response time, according to an HP Exstream source. “The result is an improved business and IT efficiency that uses rules and data-based logic,” comments Chris Reed, CSAA Insurance Group program manager. “We are able to easily deliver personalized customer communications through multiple channels, an important expectation of today’s consumers.”

HP also announced that it has been invited to be a Premier Solution Partner within the new, recently announced Guidewire PartnerConnect program. “Having been one of first participants when Guidewire launched its Solution partner program in 2012, and to now be at the Premier designation within the program is an exciting opportunity for us to work more closely with Guidewire,” comments Chuck Fazio HP Exstream Worldwide Alliances and Industry Manager, HP.
