CSAA Insurance Group (Walnut Creek, Calif.) has adopted ZestyAI’s (San Francicsco) Z-FIRE to help evaluate wildfire risk at the single property level. The insurer plans to integrate the solution into its underwriting and rating processes for homeowners’ insurance, according to a vendor statement.
“Our goal is to continuously find better ways to serve our policyholders,” comments Rick Lanter, SVP, product strategy and development, CSAA Insurance Group. “By broadening our understanding and application of AI, we expect to more accurately estimate wildfire risks in support of our customers.”
“With climate change altering the face of insurance, AI is an increasingly important tool for forward-thinking insurers,” comments Attila Toth, founder and CEO, ZestyAI. “We are committed to supporting CSAA on its journey to offering innovative products that are backed by data-driven risk analysis.”
