Columbia Insurance Group Completes Migration to Insurity Policy Decisions Evolution

The on-time migration for all lines of business will allow Columbia to build streamlined screens for agents, enhance customization, and enable third-party APIs for better quoting.

Columbia Insurance Group (Columbia, Mo.), a regional property/casualty carrier serving customers across 19 states in the Midwest and Southeast, has completed a migration to Insurity’s (Hartford) Policy Decisions Evolution across all lines of business within the planned timeline.

Columbia Insurance group sought to update its core systems across all lines of business while maintaining a low total cost of ownership, according to an Insurity statement. The vendor reports that, based on its experience as a long-time customer of Insurity, Columbia chose Policy Decisions Evolution. The vendor says the solution will allow Columbia to build streamlined screens for agents, enhance customization, and enable APIs to seamlessly feed in third-party data for faster, more accurate quoting.
