CNA Canada (Toronto) has announced the appointment of Luke Mellors as its new Vice President, Information Technology. In his new role, Mellors will lead the transformation and modernization of CAN’s IT functions to support business growth across Canada. The 27-year IT veteran is tasked with the discovery of modern efficiencies, helping to drive business growth and seamless solutions through collaboration, according to a carrier statement.
“I am confident in Luke’s leadership,” comments Greg Metcalfe, SVP and CFO, CNA Canada. “His diverse background will lead to greater success and impact throughout the organization.”
Mellors was most recently Director, Data Technology and Innovation Services at Allstate Canada. Earlier he was Senior Director, IT at Sirius XM Canada. Mellors has also held senior IT positions with prestigious hotel groups. Most recently, he led large teams across multiple countries that encompassed Data Services, Analytics, IT Strategy, Business Applications, Innovation, Data Center Management, Program Delivery and more under his leadership portfolio. Mellors exceptional experience in leading system implementations, partnering and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and developing strategic roadmaps, according to the CNA Canada statement.
“Luke’s experience across insurance and other industries will continue to develop our Information Technology teams in Canada,” Metcalf adds. “We are thrilled for Luke to begin his leadership oversight in Canada.
