Clal Insurance, a Tel Aviv-based, pension and financial services group, has modernized its pension systems through the replacement of its legacy system with Sapiens’ (Holon, Israel) life and pensions solution. The initiative, begun in 2013 and concluded within 15 months on-time and on-budget, included collaboration in the development of a data warehouse, dashboard and claims management and agent commission system modules by vendor and Clalbit, the insurer’s software organization, according to a Sapiens statement.
The combined solution is now providing Clal’s 2,000 insurance agents with significantly increased automation and more efficient and streamlined processing, according to the vendor. Members of the fund and agents are now able to easily access accurate information, make more informed and timely decisions, and quickly complete processing, making for what the vendor characterizes as an ideal user experience.
