Chubb Selects Arctic Wolf as Preferred MDR Provider for Cyber Policyholders

The arrangement offers eligible Chubb clients access to Arctic Wolf’s managed detection and response services to support risk reduction and cyber resilience.

Chubb (Zurich/Whitehouse Station, N.J.) has named Arctic Wolf (Eden Prairie, Minn.) a preferred managed detection and response (MDR) provider for its U.S. cyber insurance policyholders with more than 100 employees. The selection aligns with Chubb’s focus on strengthening client resilience by promoting adoption of critical security controls that can reduce the frequency and severity of cyber-related losses.

Arctic Wolf’s MDR service, delivered through its Aurora Platform, integrates with existing customer environments to provide continuous monitoring, threat detection, and expert guidance. The platform, powered by Alpha AI and built on an open extended detection and response (XDR) architecture, processes more than nine trillion security events weekly.

According to Arctic Wolf and Chubb’s respective 2025 threat reports, exploitation of remote services—such as unsecured RDP or compromised VPN credentials—remains a leading cause of major cyber insurance claims. Arctic Wolf’s service includes hands-on support to help organizations implement and maintain high-impact security controls, which may improve insurability over time.
