Charles Taylor Names Heather Burnham SVP of Marketing and Business Development

Burnham will lead business development and marketing for TPA business, a core pillar of the company’s U.S. growth strategy.

Charles Taylor (London/Wilton, Conn.) a provider of claims solutions to the U.S. and global insurance market, announced today that it has appointed Heather H. Burnham as SVP of Marketing and Business Development to further advance the company’s position as a leader in full-service claims solutions, including third-party administration (TPA) and managed care services.

In her new role at Charles Taylor, Burnham will lead business development, high-impact marketing programs and brand strategy for the TPA business, whose growth is a core pillar of the company’s continued expansion in the U.S., according to a Charles Taylor statement. Burnham, who brings over two decades of experience to Charles Taylor, will work closely with company leaders to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to drive business priorities, the statement says.

Growing TPA Business

Charles Taylor TPA recently acquired Underwriters Safety & Claims (US&C), a TPA and managed care services provider with operations across the U.S. In 2021, the company acquired Aegis, a leading mutual management and TPA for the municipal market.

Burnham has over 25 years of experience in B2B marketing, including her role as VP of Marketing at CorVel Corporation— a national provider of risk management solutions for the workers’ compensation, auto, health and disability management industries—where she helped to build the CorVel brand from a managed care provider to a full-service TPA.
