Former Celent analyst and current Insurance Innovation Reporter (IIR) contributor Catherine Stagg-Macey has joined Novarica as Associate Research Director for UK/European insurance. Stagg-Macey was head of Celent’s European insurance practice and is founder of leadership coaching consultancy Belgrave Street and originator of the Happiness@work project.
“This is a great opportunity for Novarica to extend their reach into the important U.K. market. My focus initially will be on the London market which has been an underserved sector by the analyst community,” Stagg-Macey told IIR. “As I continue to build my coaching business, the development of the Novarica brand in the UK will keep me in touch with the reality of my coaching clients. It’s a real win-win.”
Stagg-Macey has been a prominent figure in the European insurance sphere as a networker and advisor to industry executives, a speaker and an analyst who has authored over 80 reports during the past decade. As an associate director for Novarica, Stagg-Macey will bring what Novarica calls her distinctive expertise to the research and advisory firm’s clients and Research Council members through personal consultations, strategy workshops, presentations and research publications.
“Catherine’s knowledge of European insurance technology strategy issues is unmatched in the analyst world,” comments Matthew Josefowicz, managing director, Novarica. “We’re excited to have her working with our team to expand our coverage in this important market.”
