Capital Insurance Group Migrates Guidewire InsuranceSuite onto Guidewire Cloud

The insurer seeks to modernize operations, increase agility, reduce cost and stay current on Guidewire’s latest offerings.

Capital Insurance Group (CIG; Monterey, Calif.), a regional property/casualty insurer in the western U.S., and Guidewire (San Mateo, Calif.) have announced that CIG successfully migrated Guidewire InsuranceSuite onto Guidewire Cloud to power core operations, simplify IT operations, and quickly adapt to changing market demands. CIG is a member of Auto-Owners Insurance Group (Lansing, Mich.) and migrated InsuranceSuite for its commercial lines of business. CIG is currently migrating InsuranceSuite for its personal lines of business according to the joint announcement. Guidewire PartnerConnect Consulting Global Premier member PwC (London) led the implementation project. CIG has been a Guidewire customer since 2015.
