Blue Prism (London), a prominent global vendor of robotic process automation solutions to the insurance, financial services and other industries, has expanded its presence in the Latin American market through a partnership with DiRWA (Miami), a process automation company with offices in the United States, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico, which also provides services in other countries in the Americas.
Through the partnership, DiRWA will deliver the RPA implementation and multilingual services needed to support Blue Prism’s ‘digital workforce’—meaning the company’s software robots—targeting large enterprise clients in the region, according to a vendor statement. Blue Prism describes the partnership as aligning with its vision and go-to-market strategy by offering customers a joint solution that takes them beyond the automation of work processes and towards a broader digital transformation
“Latin America continues to embrace enterprise RPA versus desktop automation and we’re seeing a groundswell of demand for the capabilities Blue Prism offers,” comments Martin Flood, executive VP, global sales, Blue Prism. “We are supporting large scale global customers such as EDP Energias do Brasil, one of the largest Brazilian utility companies [$10B revenues]. DiRWA’s multilingual training center coupled with our robotic operating model is driving increased adoption in this market.”
Blue Prism has recently expanded operations into Japan, India and Australia. This partnership with DiRWA is intended to strengthen Blue Prism’s existing presence in Latin America. Joint client examples to date include a bank with more than 1,000 offices and $3B in revenue in Latin America, a $45B brewery with over 60 percent of its volume in Brazil, the third largest retailer in Latin America with $10B in revenues, according to the vendor.
“DiRWA is working with EDP Energias do Brasil to create a Center of Excellence (CoE) using Blue Prism software to establish the best development practices and monitoring of automation processes,” affirms Silva Vaz Junior at EDP Energias do Brasil.

Blue Prism offers what it characterizes as a complete intelligent automation platform that delivers the highest requirement levels for audit, security and compliance while taking advantage of cloud and AI capabilities. The company pitches its RPA offering as a foundation for building out the next generation of enterprise-grade applications designed to serve as a cornerstone for digital strategy and fulfill the promise of AI.
“The RPA market is undergoing explosive growth and we’re excited to partner with the industry leader—Blue Prism,” comments Mariano Grosso, managing director, DiRWA. “RPA is more than just about automation or improving efficiencies, it can help transform any organization at its core in a way desktop-based automation can’t. Working with Blue Prism helps us serve this multilingual market with an enterprise-grade digital workforce that can leverage AI, cognitive and cloud capabilities.”
