Blink Parametric (Cork) and Zurich Insurance in Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) have announced the integration of Blink Parametric’s real-time flight delay assistance and claims solution with the Zurich Edge Platform as part of its region-wide digital strategy.

Sid Mouncey, CEO, Blink Parametric.

Under this collaboration, Zurich offers real-time assistance to eligible policyholders who experience flight delays, by providing them with complimentary access to a VIP airport lounge. Moreover, if the lounge cannot be utilized on the day of disruption, the lounge pass will remain valid for six months, to be used at the policyholder’s discretion worldwide. The first market to go live with this Zurich initiative is Singapore.

“This is an exciting partnership for us as we strengthen our presence in the region with Zurich Asia Pacific,” comments Sid Mouncey, CEO, Blink Parametric. “The Zurich Edge platform is a catalyst for fresh, relevant, digital insurance products and our unique flight disruption solution is a great fit for the platform. Our respective teams achieved a seamless and rapid integration, prioritizing the delivery of a superior customer experience for the APAC travel insurance market.”

Blink Parametric offers a range of real-time assistance and service choices to travelers impacted by flight disruption events. Blink Parametric describes its travel solutions as fully customizable and designed to deliver operational efficiency on processing high frequency, low value travel insurance claims when the traveler needs immediate real-time claim resolution.
