CodeObjects (Milpitas, Calif.) announced its Test Drive program for its InsuranceEnterprise integrated core insurance system today at the IASA Annual Educational Conference and Business Show. The program offers P&C carriers the ability to use the suite for two weeks through cloud deployment, which the vendor characterizes as being a step beyond proof of concept. Participating carriers can choose to Test Drive one or more modules for personal or commercial lines, including policy administration, billing, claims processing and product development.

“This is a great example of the power of cloud—experiencing core systems in real time,” comments Karen Furtado, a partner with Boston based research and advisory firm SMA. “Since these are significant decisions, the ability to interact directly with the technology offers tremendous insights to the decision makers.”
CodeObjects’ TestDrive program is offered at no cost, and with no requirement of further commitment, and includes the following features, according to the vendor:
- Business Processes: A library of documented common business processes such as creating a new product, adding coverages, creating underwriting rules and other common tasks.
- Training: CodeObjects will provide participating carriers with a full day of training.
- Support: CodeObjects will be available by phone and email for support throughout the two week test.
“We are extremely confident in the ease, flexibility, and quick implementation of InsuranceEnterprise,” comments Anil Annadata, CEO of CodeObjects. “Carriers can leverage the powerful web-based tools in InsuranceEnterprise to configure their own products and processes.”
