Beneva (Quebec City), the largest mutual insurance company in Canada, and Guidewire (San Mateo, Calif.) have announced that Beneva successfully deployed Guidewire ClaimCenter on Guidewire Cloud to power and simplify its claims business and related IT operations, adapt quickly to changing supply chain conditions, and deliver insights to its advisors and policyholders. The company, created through the merger of SSQ and La Capitale (which have been Guidewire customers since 2010 and 2014, respectively) in 2020, migrated its self-managed ClaimCenter environment onto Guidewire Cloud, according to a Guidewire statement.

Guidewire reports that Beneva is currently migrating its self-managed Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire BillingCenter environments onto Guidewire Cloud as well. With the completion of that project, the company will be a full Guidewire InsuranceSuite customer on Guidewire Cloud.
