Beazley plc (London) has agreed to acquire kWh Analytics, a renewable energy MGA focused on risk analytics and insurance for clean energy assets. Beazley says the acquisition supports its transition underwriting strategy and expands capabilities in modeling, underwriting and risk management for renewable energy portfolios.
Following completion of the transaction, kWh Analytics will be integrated into Beazley’s Marine, Accident & Political Risks (MAP) underwriting group. Jason Kaminsky, CEO, kWh Analytics, will report to Tim Turner, Group Head, MAP, Beazley plc and be a key part of the transition underwriting strategy led by Kelly Malynn.

Beazley is a specialty insurer operating through multiple global platforms and managing several syndicates at Lloyd’s of London. The company reported gross premiums written of $6.1 billion in 2025 and offers products including financial lines, cyber, property, marine and aviation, reinsurance and contingency coverage.
kWh Analytics provides data analytics and insurance services for renewable energy assets through its subsidiary Solar Energy Insurance Services. Its database includes performance data from more than 300,000 renewable energy assets and more than $150 billion in loss data.
