Auto-Owners Insurance (Lansing, Mich.) has selected Duck Creek Technologies’ policy administration software to create new revenue opportunities, increase operational efficiency and to improve communications between associates, customers and independent agency partners, according to a vendor announcement. Replacing four legacy policy administration systems, Duck Creek Policy will support management of the entire policy lifecycle from quote to bind to issue. The insurer will also accelerate implementation with pre-configured ISO and NCCI product content and forms.
With policies being written in 26 states, the consolidated core system will support Auto-Owners’ goals to accelerate deployment of new products with lower costs and less time spent coding; to improve customer and independent agent satisfaction with better technology and self-service; to automate and streamline workflows through efficient quoting and binding processes; and to centralize account-related information management, according to the vendor.
Relentless Pursuit of Excellence
“To continue our relentless pursuit of excellence and sustain our profitable growth objectives, we need to transform our operations to take advantage of the technology that can better meet the expectations of customers and agents, and enable a more progressive work environment for our associates,” comments Fred Hannula, AVP, Auto-Owners Insurance. “We selected Duck Creek because of their proven expertise, successful implementations and future-directed approach to insurance solutions and look forward to realizing the benefits of our system transformation.”
“We’re excited to be working with Auto-Owners to provide a solution that will transform their foundational core system,” says Michael A. Jackowski, CEO, Duck Creek Technologies. “It is truly gratifying to partner with an insurer that is embracing technology that will better serve the needs of agents and customers and continue to support their business growth.”
