AultCare, a Canton, Ohio-based TPA processing health insurance and benefits claims and part of the Aultman Health Foundation not-for-profit health care organization, has selected a suite of LexisNexis Risk Solutions (Atlanta) clinical analytics solutions for supporting its 165,000 commercial, Medicare Advantage, individual and patient-centered medical home members improve care management by more accurately identifying and stratifying member risk and measuring provider performance, according to a vendor statement.

The LexisNexis suite of clinical analytics solutions being used by AultCare, including the LexisNexis Population Health Monitor solution, are designed to help organizations manage the health of their populations through predictive science, aggregation and linking of medical and pharmacy claims, demographics, lab results, and public records to predict inpatient stays, emergency room visits, prescription costs and risk of non-compliance, the vendor reports. LexisNexis also utilizes public records data to forecast total cost for members. Using what LexisNexis characterizes as the most accurate predictive analytics available for member stratification, AultCare will maximize case and care management efforts, focusing on areas where interventions and preventative care will be most useful.
